Beyonce and Jay-Z are reportedly making plans to tie the knot soon and official papers have been filed to prove it. Gossip sites have rumored the super couple have been engaged, married and soon-to-be married for the latter part of their five-year relationship, but this time there’s proof. The two actually took out a marriage license yesterday morning (Apr. 1) in Scarsdale, N.Y., according to People magazine. The document is good for 60 days. A rep for Beyoncé had “No comment” and Jay-Z’s spokesperson couldn’t be reached. Jay and Bey have been dating since 2002, though both have been very private about their relationship. Rumors of the two being an item first began to swirl after the singer appeared onJay’s track “03 Bonnie & Clyde,” and he returned the favor, collabing on Beyonce’s solo smash “Crazy in Love.” In a Dec 2006 interview with InStyle, Bey said, “You can’t rush a man into anything – whether it’s a relationship, marriage or having children.” Most recently, it was rumored that the two were planning a wedding in the Caribbean. Those claims were denied by the artists’ reps. The couple has two months to wed before the marriage license expires.
